Rawayana joins Cultura Profética, La Vida Bohème and McKlopedia in a tribute to King Changó

Rawayana, Willy of Cultura Profética, La Vida Bohème and McKlopedia have joined voices to bring to life Sin Ti, a cover of the legendary Blanquito Man song, released on their social media in recent days.

On 30 December Rawayana shared on its social media a short documentary trailer recorded at the La Bestia Récords studios in Mexico, previewing the appealing musical gathering to honour the legacy of José Andrés Blanco Aybar, better known as Blanquito Man, and of King Changó in Latin American music.

The project began on 30 October 2017 to pay tribute to the emblematic Venezuelan band and at the same time to direct the money raised to the Cancer pa' Fuera campaign run by the family of Blanquito Man, who finally rested from his fight against cancer on 16 November 2017. Despite the physical absence of King Changó's much remembered vocalist, the aim of Sin Ti stands: to pay tribute to the Venezuelan group and to pass the proceeds to Blanquito's close family who, according to conversations with his relatives, are considering setting up the Blanquito Man Foundation to help people with cancer.

King Changó set the pace in music inside and outside Venezuela and influenced the groups taking part in this tribute, which is available on Rawayana's YouTube channel and on all digital music platforms.
