We want NotiCorp to be readable on any device, with or without a mouse, with or without sight. This page says what we have done and what is still missing.

What we have done

Semantic HTML: hierarchical headings, a single H1 per page, articles and dates marked up so a screen reader can announce them.
Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus ring on every interactive element.
Contrast checked in both light and night mode, with the theme respecting your choice.
Alternative text on images that carry information, and decorative marking on those that do not.
Resizable type: the site stays usable when zoomed to 200 per cent.
Story text is served in the HTML rather than drawn by JavaScript, so it reads even if scripts fail.

Known limitations

Part of the archive inherited from the previous site has images without alternative text. We are filling these in batches.
Some third party photographs carry text inside the image, which we cannot always reproduce.
