The best business stories almost never arrive in a press release. If you know something that deserves to be told, this is where to tell us.
What helps
- A deal, an investment, a closure or an expansion before it becomes official.
- Documents, figures or contracts that support a story.
- A pattern you can see from inside an industry that nobody is reporting.
- A mistake of ours. That is a good tip too.
Confidentiality
We protect the identity of our sources. If you ask for confidentiality, we will not publish your name or any detail that could identify you, and we will not share your message outside the newsroom.
Consider the channel you use. This form and email are convenient, but they are not anonymous: if your situation is sensitive, write from a personal device and account, never from your employer’s, and ask us to move to a more secure channel.
What happens next
We read everything. We verify before publishing and contact the company or person concerned to offer a right of reply. There may be no story, and it may take time: an unverified tip does not run.
