Meet the winners of the Trazo de Sueños, El Principito competition organised by Torre Gerais

Trazos de Sueños: El Principito, el valor del amor y la amistad invited the whole community to give free rein to their creativity through freehand drawings inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's emblematic work. The initiative was a chance to express, through art and writing, a burst of feeling and to set down each entrant's own reading of The Little Prince's universe.

The competition drew 376 entrants, children and adults alike. Among all the entries we discovered fine artists who worked in a range of techniques, including watercolour, oil and pencil.

The prize ceremony took place at Parque Vizcaya on Saturday 16 March at 4pm, organised by Torre Gerais together with the Montblanc brand and with the collaboration of the Baruta town hall and Copa Airlines. The winners were as follows.

First prize was two Copa Airlines tickets to an international destination, plus the chance to see the winning work reproduced in a limited edition of Montblanc notebooks. Second prize was a classic Meisterstück Solitaire fountain pen and a bottle of Montblanc Royal Blue ink. Third prize was a classic Meisterstück fountain pen and a bottle of Montblanc Burgundy Red ink. Montblanc accessories were awarded in the children's and youth categories.

Gerais made space for creativity and managed to encourage and cultivate amateur and emerging art, confirming that thousands of seeds of imagination sprout daily in many minds and take shape through different forms of art, producing work full of ingenuity, feeling and creativity.
