Gama Express Los Palos Grandes celebrates its opening

With a firm commitment to being present in every corner of the capital and closer to its customers, so as to keep offering the best products and the quality of service it is known for, Gama Supermercados has opened the doors of its new branch, Gama Express Los Palos Grandes.

The new site is in Los Palos Grandes between 3rd Avenue and 5th Transversal, in the El Patio shopping centre in the Chacao municipality. It offers a comfortable, generous space to make the experience more pleasant, with 1,350 square metres of shop floor, nine checkouts, electronic shelf labels and free private parking, so that shopping is comfortable and safe at all times. The site also has a pharmacy section and a bakery area thanks to its partners St. Honoré, creating a space where you can find everything you need in one modern setting.

The opening began with words of welcome from María Alejandra Bertorelli, marketing manager at Gama, who thanked everyone present for joining them at this important moment before cutting the red ribbon and entering the new premises. Inside, executive president Luis Miguel da Gama shared moving words of thanks to all his workers and to those who made this new achievement possible, and also acknowledged the Los Palos Grandes area, where the first Gama branch opened in 1969 and which has been its home ever since.

After Luis Miguel da Gama's remarks, Father Ricardo Guillén carried out the traditional blessing of the branch, offering a prayer and walking through each of the aisles to bless the new space, the workers who will work there and everyone present.

The celebration continued that afternoon with a live performance by Amalgados, part of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Symphony Orchestra, who played traditional Christmas pieces to bring the season closer, and there was the customary prize wheel for customers, as a way of inviting neighbours in the area to share in the joy and enjoy this new space.

To mark the opening, all customers shopping at this branch until 18 December will enjoy a 10 per cent discount on all their purchases.

Gama is working hard to keep winning space and getting closer to you. In 2022 new territories were added, specifically in La India and El Paraíso. Luis Miguel da Gama thanked the loyal customers who are part of this large family.
