C4 Trío makes its presence felt at the Grammys

On the eve of the sixtieth Grammy Awards ceremony, the most prestigious honour in the music industry, to be held on Sunday 28 January at Madison Square Garden in New York, C4 Trío prepares to make its presence felt alongside the members of Desorden Público, with whom they are nominated for best Latin rock, urban or alternative album for the record Pa' Fuera, competing in the same category with the most recent work by Los Amigos Invisibles, El Paradise; Ayo, by Bomba Estéreo; Salvavidas de Hielo, by Jorge Drexler; and Residente, by Residente.

Before that, on Thursday 25 January at 2:00 p.m., the group that has excelled in projecting the Venezuelan cuatro as an instrument of enormous versatility will perform at the Anaheim Convention Center's Yamaha Grand Plaza Stage in California, as part of the 2018 edition of the NAMM Show, one of the world's great music product exhibitions.

On Tuesday 30 January at 8:30 p.m., the group made up of Jorge Glem, Edward Ramírez and Héctor Molina will open the Guataca Night NY season alongside the leader and founder of Desorden Público, Horacio Blanco, playing some of the twelve tracks on their joint album, where they fuse the classic genres that made both groups known with rhythms such as eastern joropo, contradanza, gaita de tambora, joropo tuyero, the Guatire drum and Caracas and Caribbean merengue, among others.

On 9 and 10 February they will be at the Ground Up Festival in Miami, a gathering featuring great names of international music. Bassist Gustavo Márquez will accompany them at the New York shows, while Rodner Padilla will do the same at the California and Miami concerts.
