Disco Club to celebrate the legacy of Disintegration

In May 1989 The Cure released their eighth studio album, Disintegration. The years pass and it remains a jewel of the band's catalogue and of rock history.

It is a work with an almost hypnotic sound, at once sombre and intriguing. With songs such as Plainsong, Pictures of You, Lovesong, Lullaby, Fascination Street and The Same Deep Water as You, Disintegration is an album that still feels fresh and powerful. A record you always want to return to.

The next edition of Disco Club will be devoted to this work by The Cure. The panel will feature singer Ingrid D, collector José Miguel Liberto and broadcaster Jesús Rodríguez. The discussion will be hosted by journalist Humberto Sánchez Amaya, creator of Disco Club.

The session is on Thursday 13 April 2023 at 6:00 pm at Bar Restaurant La Guacamaya, on Calle Sucre in Chacao. Free entry.

Disco Club is produced by www.elmiope.com with the support of Onda La Superestación, Cresta Metálica, Mayerlin Perdomo and La Guacamaya.
