Now is the best moment to add initiatives, experiences and ideas and to share them with everyone from your own point of view. With that in mind, and to keep you company during this period of lockdown with a simple and enjoyable challenge, Academia Chaplin, Ccs Para Llevar, Comunifilm, Gpc Consulting, Iconos Venezolanos, Kenco Estudio, La Guía de Caracas, Ron Carúpano, Ser Caraqueño and Vikua invite you to immortalise the city from any possible angle, so that everyone can travel visually across Caracas from end to end, and even keep that journey as a record.

The first thing to do is take a photograph of Caracas from your window, publish it on Instagram using the hashtag #CaracasDesdeMiVentana, add the location of the publication, the place you took the photo from, then follow the official accounts @guiadecaracas, @iconosvenezolanos and @sercaraqueño and tag them, since they will be the showcase for entries. You can post as many photos as you like on your profile following those steps, and your account must be public so the photos can be seen.

If you complete all the steps, the partner accounts will publish your photo with due credit on the official competition accounts throughout the lockdown, and at the end a jury made up of the partner organisations will assess the material received and choose the winners. First place receives a photographic tour of the city with Academia Chaplin plus a bottle of Ron Carúpano; second place, your photo framed in the style of @ccsparallevar plus a bottle of Ron Carúpano; and third place, a bottle of Ron Carúpano.

All photos entered that follow the steps will be shown when lockdown ends in an exhibition, to see the perspectives from the window in different parts of Caracas. A virtual gallery will also be created on the website www.laguiadecaracas.net to publish the photos.

In difficult times the best thing is to breathe deeply and to value and contemplate what is beautiful in life, because it is not about what we are but what we will be. So that we can embrace each other again soon, stay at home and take part in the CaracasDesdeMiVentana experience.
