Culinary sources place Ron Carúpano first among the world's ten best rums

A well known culinary source has presented its list of the ten best rums in the world, drawing on a series of interviews with experts as well as the prizes and recognitions won by each rum house.

Ron Añejo Carúpano Legendario took first place in the ranking. It is a rum described as a product that "carries notes of dried fruit that give it an amber colour that mesmerises its drinkers. Aged for 25 years, it is without doubt one of the best rums in the world."

Destilería Carúpano is a Venezuelan company with more than 250 years of rum making tradition, located in the fertile, humid Carúpano valley at Hacienda Altamira de Macarapana.
